CLINICAL STUDY RESULTS

In a 12-week clinical case study on 6 female subjects ages 30-55 with hyperpigmentation, pigmentary signs of photodamage, or melasma, Pigment Balancing Peel helped clarify photodamaged skin, reduce discoloration, and improve skin radiance. Subjects received a session of 6 Pigment Balancing Peel treatments,10-14 days apart.

CLINICAL STUDY RESULTS

A 12-week, single-center, clinical study was conducted on 64 females, ages 40 to 60, Fitzpatrick I–IV, with mild to moderate skin aging, including fine lines, wrinkles, hyperpigmentation, laxity, and pore size. Subjects demonstrated a statistically significant improvement in hyperpigmentation (19%), fine lines (31%), wrinkles (10%), tactile smoothness (28%), laxity (18%), appearance of pores (21%), and overall appearance (19%). Subjects received 3 peels at 4 week intervals.

The SkinCeuticals Micropeel is a three-step clinical procedure combining dermaplaning (physical exfoliation); chemical exfoliation; and cryogenic therapy to reduce signs of photoaging including fine lines; wrinkles; dullness; and visible skin imperfections in a series of 4-6 procedures. The Micropeel 30 Solution; formulated with 20% unbuffered and unneutralized glycolic acid at a low pH exfoliates; refines pores; and accelerates cell turnover to reduce signs of photodamage.
