Dr. O’s education began at the University of Mobile in Mobile, AL, where he graduated cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in Biology on a golf scholarship. He earned his medical degree from the University of South Alabama, graduating with the Alpha Omega Alpha honor, the only honor available to medical students. He completed his internship and residency in general surgery, as well as a dedicated research year, at the Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) in Charleston, SC.
In 2001, he completed his plastic surgery fellowship at Jackson Memorial Hospital–University of Miami, one of the country’s leading training programs. His board-certified surgeon credentials come from both the American Board of Surgery and the American Board of Plastic Surgery.

Born in South Korea, Dr. Seung Jun “Sonny” O was raised in American Samoa and Alabama, respectively. Dr. O attended college on a golf scholarship at the University of Mobile in Mobile, AL where he graduated cum laude with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology.

Professional All the Way with Caring Follow-up and Great Results
65 years old, very pronounced turkey neck and virtually no jaw line left on profile. Lots of mid-face sagging also. Dr. O and his staff were, at all times, courteous, professional, and caring. I am very happy with the outcome. Many people who have known me a long time have said I looked really rested and pretty. It’s the result I wanted, not obvious surgery but just look more rested, younger, and prettier. No pain after surgery at all, very little bruising, minimal swelling. I would highly recommend him for any cosmetic procedure.
