More than one million Americans living with a blood cancer. The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) launched its annual “Man & Woman of the Year (MWOY)” fundraising campaign, enlisting influential and compassionate community leaders, such as Dr. Sonny O, to compete to raise funds for blood cancer research and cures.

Dr. Sonny O Plastic Surgery Center’s team wants to WIN for this cause! DONATE TODAY to support Dr. Sonny O and learn how you can become a part of the effort to find cures and ensure access to treatments for blood cancer patients. Stay tuned for special events benefiting LLS over the next 10 weeks.

MWOY candidates across the country compete in honor of a local boy and girl who are blood cancer survivors, to raise the most funds for blood cancer research. Every dollar counts as one vote, and the titles are awarded to the man and woman with the most votes at the end of the campaign. Dr. Sonny O Plastic Surgery together with your local support hope to win the battle against leukemia and lymphoma.

Our local boy and girl are Ryan, age 13 from Goose Creek, and Kalaila, age 7 from Mt. Pleasant. Passionate about the cause, Ryan and Kalaila are a rich story of promise and perseverance. We are inspired by and hope to help Ryan and Kalaila carry the heavy burden of finding treatment and cures.
