MWOY candidates across the country compete in honor of a local boy and girl who are blood
cancer survivors, to raise the most funds for blood cancer research. Every dollar counts as one
vote, and the titles are awarded to the man and woman with the most votes at the end of the
campaign. Dr. Sonny O Plastic Surgery together with your local support hope to win the battle against leukemia and lymphoma.
Our local boy and girl are Ryan, age 13 from Goose Creek, and Kalaila, age 7 from Mt. Pleasant. Passionate about the cause, Ryan and Kalaila are a rich story of promise and perseverance. We are inspired by and hope to help Ryan and Kalaila carry the heavy burden of finding treatment and cures.
